SIT FOR PEACE IN COPLEY SQUARE

TIME: Beginning at 5:00 p.m., and concluding at 6:00 p.m.
WHERE: Copley Square in Boston, MA


Greetings Friends!

On Wednesday, April 9, 2008, the Olympic Torch will be passed through 
San Francisco, which is  the only North American city to host the 
Relay.  At the same time, in protest, there will be a Walk for Peace 
in San Francisco led by Buddhist teachers and Burmese monks.

In support of this effort, area Buddhists and  peace practitioners, 
with the intention to utilize peaceful means - free of angry or 
hostile action - to create positive change, will sit and walk in 
meditation, chanting and prayer in Copley Square.
