Dear Buddhist Peace Fellowship,
My name is Emily Dahmen, and I am hosting, with the aid of local
Moveon.org volunteers, a very large Candlelight Peace vigil next
Monday night (March 19th). I have been making a point to invite
meditators, with one goal being to generate a palpable peaceful
feeling in the crowd. If you could please forward this invitation to
anyone who might be interested, we'd greatly appreciate it. If you
need further information, please feel free to contact me, either by
email or by phone: 617-523-2823.
Thanks very much, Emily Dahmen

Light Up The Longfellow - Candlelight Vigil for Peace (and an end to
the Iraq war)
Monday March 19th, 6-7 pm
Longfellow Bridge, Cambridge/Boston
Come be a part of a large, beautiful, peaceful candlelight vigil
spanning across the Longfellow Bridge! Let's make our desire for
Peace - and an end to the Iraq War - visible. Bring 5 friends and
help us get on the 11 o'clock news.
We will meet towards the middle of the Bridge at 6 pm, and at 6:30, we
will "Light up the Longfellow" for half an hour. You need only bring
a source of light that can withstand the breeze - such as a
flashlight, lantern, or candle in a cut-out plastic bottle. Bring
extra if you have any and we'll all share.
The Bridge is between the Charles/MGH and Kendall T stops on the Red
Line and is wheelchair accessible. (Charles/MGH stop is closer.)
