Subject: Join the Massachusetts rally for climate action!

We have a chance to participate in a historic
moment in the movement to stop global warming.
For nine days this month, citizens of all ages,
politics, and religious beliefs will walk across
Massachusetts to draw attention to the climate
crisis and demand bold action from decision
makers. By the time we reach Boston on March 24,
we're expecting the largest global warming
demonstration in U.S. history. This Interfaith
Walk for Climate Rescue starts in Northampton on
March 16 and ends in Boston on March 24 with
Climate Rescue Daya walk leaving Cambridge at
11:30 a.m. for Boston, an interfaith service at
2:00 p.m. at Old South Church, and then a rally
at 3:00 p.m. at Copley Square. We invite you to
participate at any point during these nine days.
Better still, recruit a team from your workplace,
school, community, or house of worship. Be a
visible part of this groundswell for climate
action! With your help, this event can be a
turning point. We're hoping to draw hundreds of
people on the walk and over a thousand people to
participate in the rally. Throughout, the message
will be consistent: we demand bold and immediate
action from our public officials to achieve 80
percent reductions in global warming pollution by
2050. The walk and rally are being organized by a
broad coalition of faith and environmental
organizations, including the Union of Concerned
Scientists. For complete information, click here
