Hi Craig,
Do you think we could send this out to the BPF list, since George was one of
our speakers and people donated money to this group when he spoke at the
CZC?

Subject: Appeal from George Capaccio for Iraqi Families
Dear Friends,
As you know, my wife Nancy and I provide assistance
for a group of related families in Baghdad. I am
writing to you today to ask your help in raising
funds for these families. One way you can do this is
by contacting friends and colleagues in your own
various circles who might wish to provide direct
assistance to Iraqi families.
This past week several of the families have
experienced a serious loss of resources. They are
unable to purchase food from local markets, pay for
medical services, or cover any of their basic living
expenses. They are all living in dangerous parts of
Baghdad where car bombings, suicide attacks, and
militia violence is a daily part of their lives.
The families have been calling me day and night asking
for support. The fund we keep for the families is
temporarily unable to provide this support.
I have been using Western Union to send money to the
families. It has proven to be a reliable, trustworthy
service. I then check to make sure they have received
the money.
Anyone who wishes to contribute can make checks
payable to Family Relief Fund and mail them to my home
address:

(Please note the email address I am using for this
appeal: Capaciogeorge at yahoo.com)
Please feel free to distribute this appeal as widely
as possible and to call me if you have questions or
concerns. My home phone is 781-641-9846.
I will be grateful for any support you can provide,
and I know the families will be even more so.
In the spirit,
George Capaccio
